After a restful few months we are (almost!) back in full swing on the farm. The days are getting longer and there is a little more warmth (on same days more than others!) We have done all of our crop planning and seed orders and now the fun work begins 🙂
The polytunnel is starting to fill up with tomatoes, chillies, salad, onions and beets seedlings. The broad beans are growing well and we should have our first harvest in a couple of months. The storage squash and garlic, alongside winter-hardy kale and leeks have been seeing us through the Winter months, we have also been selling them at our monthly Farmer’s Market in Saltaire. You can find us there every 2nd Sunday of the month in Roberts Park with Real Markets.
